• Primary Elections
  In Presidential Election years: held on the 1st Tuesday in March (2000, 2004).

  In Gubernatorial Election years: held on the 2nd Tuesday after the 1st Monday in September (1998, 2002).

• General Elections
  Held on the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November in even-numbered years (1998, 2000).

BALTIMORE CITY

• Municipal Primary Elections
  Held in the year after the Gubernatorial Election year, on the 2nd Tuesday after the 1st Monday in September (1999, 2003).

• Municipal General Elections
  Held in the year after the Gubernatorial Election year, on the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November (1999, 2003).
